ABOUT CECI
Located on a leafy street just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of Camden, Ceci Studio is a small, intimate and friendly Reformer Pilates Studio, welcoming everyone!
OUR STORY
Ceci was founded with a simple mission: to create a safe, welcoming space - completely unintimidating, and the kind of place that makes you exhale and think, “ahhh.”
After 8 years of teaching and building a loyal client base across North London, Lydia felt it was time to create something of her own… a space shaped by experience, love, and a deep belief in the power of movement.
With the help of family and friends, she hand-crafted the studio from the ground up. From sanding and painting the pink stairs to picking the perfect plants and finding just the right boiling tap (if you know, you know), every detail was chosen with care.
That love is at the heart of Ceci. We believe movement should feel good… not just physically, but emotionally too. It should be joyful, nurturing, and empowering. Lydia’s background in dance shaped this philosophy. Dancers have a deep, intuitive understanding of the body, which is why every Pilates instructor at Ceci is either a former or current professional dancer.
We’ve kept our classes intimate, with just 8 reformers, so you’ll always get the personal attention you deserve - and still feel the buzz and energy of moving together.
Welcome to Ceci. We can’t wait to move with you.
SCROLL !
Meet the Instructors
The Ceci team brings a mix of deep movement knowledge, professional dance backgrounds, and serious passion for helping people feel good in their bodies. Every instructor brings their own energy — but you’ll always find care, attention, and that signature Ceci warmth.
LYDIA COLLIER
Founder & Ceci Master Instructor
Lydia has been teaching Pilates for nearly a decade. Her journey began on the mat, discovering the method at age 18 while training as a dancer. She first fell in love with the mat (still obsessed), and it wasn’t long before she developed the Reformer addiction!
Her teaching style is calm (to an extent), kind, and focused on helping you understand the fundamentals. But don’t be fooled by her soothing voice — Lydia will have you holding, pulsing, and burning in no time.
As the founder of Ceci, she’s poured her heart into every inch of the studio. And she couldn’t be happier to move with you here.
Sarah Rose
Ceci Master Instructor
With a 15-year career as a professional dancer, Sarah brings a wealth of body knowledge — and a lot of heart — to every class. She’s also trained in soft tissue therapy and sports massage, with side passions in fitness photography and marketing.
Her sessions are fun, challenging, and empowering, always rooted in encouragement and community. Sarah believes in creating a safe space to grow, go wrong, and laugh — because movement isn’t a chore, it’s a privilege. She’s thrilled to be part of Ceci.
Katia Abramovich
Ceci Instructor
Katia’s classes are all about poise, power, and presence. A professional ballet dancer (formerly with Los Angeles Ballet), she blends her classical background with three years of Reformer Pilates teaching to help you move with grace and intention.
A North London local (often found walking her Bernese Mountain Dog), she’s also studying French and World Literature. Expect a calm, focused energy in class — with the occasional reminder to point your toes (ballet habits die hard!).
DARREN Whitby
Ceci Instructor
Darren has been teaching Reformer Pilates since 2017 and brings a strong focus on technique, movement quality, and making Pilates accessible to every body. His classes are challenging yet supportive, guiding you to deepen your practice — always with a smile and just the right amount of sass.
With qualifications in Personal Training and GP Referral, he’s also a professional pole dancer and dance champion (4x UK, 2x European Same-Sex Latin). He’s run marathons around the world and teaches dance and aerial alongside Pilates. A true mover, in every sense.
Jazz Yeo
Ceci Instructor
Jazz has been living in London for two years and initially trained as a dancer, spending three years at a professional dance college before heading to Paris for a dance contract. It was there that she discovered her love for Pilates and decided to become an instructor. With a lifelong passion for movement and fitness, combining dance and Pilates felt like a natural next step, and Jazz has been teaching since 2024.
She teaches matwork, reformer, barre, and strength classes, blending classical Pilates principles with a dynamic, functional strength focus. In Jazz’s sessions you can expect good energy, music, and a supportive space to connect with your mind and body, leaving you feeling stronger and more confident when you walk out.
Deniz Kotan
Ceci Instructor
Deniz brings warmth, challenge, and passion to every class she teaches. Her love for Pilates began in her own search for movement that felt inclusive while sparking discipline, and has since shaped her teaching style, rooted in commitment, joy, and mindful challenge. Certified in both Mat and Reformer Pilates, she layers intentional precision with playful progression to create classes that feel supportive, energising, and accessible for all.
Her hot sculpt sessions turn up the heat (literally!), while her reformer classes blend resistance and controlled movement. Whether you’re breaking a sweat in the hot studio or finding your flow with reformer, Deniz’s goal is simple: that every person leaves her class feeling stronger, more connected, and part of the Ceci community.
Laura Walsh
Ceci Instructor
Laura has been a dancer her whole life, beginning professional training at the age of eight with the Royal Ballet School and Northern Ballet Academy. She discovered Pilates while at ballet school, taking weekly reformer classes and quickly loving how Pilates and ballet complemented each other, helping her feel more connected to her body and move with greater awareness.
Throughout her dance training and later career performing across Europe, Pilates was something Laura always returned to for strength, warm-ups, and injury prevention. Now a Ballet Sculpt and Pilates teacher, she brings that same care and intention into every class, creating a supportive space where others can experience strength, joy, and connection through movement.
